FAQ
Questions people ask about Web Design Automation.
Eighteen straight answers about the SoNET Web Engine. Click or tap a card to turn it over.
The basics
What is Web Design Automation?
Software that builds the whole website for you. Instead of someone coding pages, designing a database and setting up hosting, the engine generates a complete, working, data-driven site, and you run it from an admin panel.
Who built the SoNET Web Engine, and when?
iRadek Software. In 2007 it put The SoNET Web Engine v2.0 on the Internet for anyone to use, years before "no-code" had a name. Web Design Automation® is iRadek's registered mark.
Isn't this just another no-code or AI site builder?
It came first, and it works the other way round. Builders hand you a blank canvas and a shelf of add-ons. The engine hands you a finished site with everything already inside, and you switch on what you need. The AI tools arrived in 2026; the automation never depended on them.
Will it put webmasters out of work?
No. Webmasters, developers and designers are still needed. What disappears is the repetitive part, so one webmaster can look after far more sites without the service slipping, and most people can publish a site without hiring anyone.
Speed
How fast does the engine build a website?
Over 50 complete websites a second through its API, on a 2007 Dell PowerEdge with two Xeons and 8 GB of RAM. In a browser you also wait for the network: in our timed demo the new site came back from the server in 0.8 seconds and was open, signed in, at 2.7. More on speed
Are the sites fast for visitors too?
Yes, and Google agrees. On 28 October 2026 PageSpeed Insights scored lpk7.com 99 on mobile and 100 on desktop, and the acommerceshop.com store 96 and 100. Both run on the SoNET Web Engine. How we measured
What you get
What comes with a generated site?
Unlimited pages, a blog and journal, photo and video galleries, a store with payments, a form builder, member logins, bookings, contacts, contracts, e-mail campaigns, live chat and video calls, push notifications, SEO tools, cookie-free statistics and an installable app. See the full list
Will I need plugins?
Never. Every feature is part of the engine, so there is nothing to hunt for, install, update or keep compatible, and no plugin supply chain for attackers to exploit.
Can I change the design myself?
Yes, from the admin. The Template Kit covers templates, about 1,600 Google fonts, colors, gradients, glass, shadows, animated backgrounds and dark mode, plus your own CSS for everything else. This site's look was made exactly that way.
Is every site really an app?
Yes. Each site is a Progressive Web App with its own name and icon. Visitors can install it on a phone or computer, and it keeps pages for reading offline.
Can I sell online?
Yes. Products, stock levels, cart, shipping and tax, orders and customers are built in. Cards are charged through PayPal, PayFlow, Authorize.Net or Elavon on the processor's own secure page, in line with PCI SAQ-A.
AI
Which AI tools are built in?
Design AI for looks, Describe Changes to edit a section from one sentence, Create from description for pages, posts, forms and products, a Webmaster AI assistant, Concierge to answer visitors from your own pages, and writing and picture AI in the editors.
Can an AI webmaster really run a SoNET site?
It ran this one. In October 2026 an AI webmaster rebuilt this website through the same admin screens you would use: it backed up every page, made the changes, then checked each page as a visitor on a computer and a phone. The owner approved the work.
How do Google and AI assistants find a SoNET site?
Every site publishes a live sitemap, robots.txt, structured data about the site and its owner, sharing tags, and llms.txt: a plain-language summary of its pages and posts for AI answer engines. Titles and descriptions are set in the SEO section.
Security and platform
How secure is it?
One proprietary engine, no third-party plugins. Scripts are stripped from saved content, the admin is closed to visitors, repeated failed logins lock the account, and every site runs on SSL/TLS. On 28 October 2026 the U.S. National Vulnerability Database listed nothing for iRadek or the engine. Security details
Where can the engine run?
In the Microsoft Azure cloud, on your own public web server, or installed on a single computer or a company intranet. Hosting for the sites it generates is built in.
Is there an API?
Yes: a RESTful API with full OData and OAuth 2.0 support, all grants included. It is how the engine generates over 50 sites a second. Keys and documentation come from iRadek Software.
Getting started
How can I try it today?
Press "Start my demo" on website-kiosk.com. No form, no e-mail, no password: you get your own site for 24 hours, signed in as its administrator. To keep one, use "Create your website" there; for a professionally built site, visit Intergine.
Still have a question? Try it yourself.
The fastest answer is a site of your own. The demo takes a few seconds and needs nothing from you.
